The Founders
Mary Soldano
Mary is one of the top SBA 7(a) lenders in the nation, having successfully financed over 100 small business acquisitions across the country. With a deep understanding of how access to capital creates opportunity, she helps entrepreneurs secure funding through the SBA 7(a) program at Truliant Federal Credit Union.
In addition to her lending expertise, Mary is also a member of First Choice Business Brokers, where she plays a key role in guiding business owners through the transition of ownership—helping them pass on their legacy to the next generation of entrepreneurs
Matt Soldano
Matt is an experienced entrepreneur, business broker, and operator with a passion for legacy-driven business transitions. He co-leads the acquisition and operational strategy for Legatum Familiae, drawing from his own experience as a small business buyer and owner.

Having created and sold a successful startup, Shem has first-hand knowledge and experience of what it takes to own, operate, and sell a business. Shem leverages his deep understanding of business ownership combined with his knowledge of the SBA 7(a) loan program to help entrepreneurs in a unique way.
